Service Opportunities
Every Christian congregation has a variety of opportunities for its members to serve. If you’re a visitor looking to get involved in the work of a congregation, we suggest that you find a church near you and speak with the pastor about how you can serve there.
For members of our congregations with specific skills and interests that fit a type of service not available at your home church, we offer the following list of service opportunities in other area churches. Please call the contact person listed if you are interested in serving in any of these areas. Click on the church name for more detailed information.
English as a Second Language Program
Description: Our ESL volunteers help with teaching, tutoring, and childcare in our ESL program.
Day and Time: Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Festival Praise Family
Description: An opportunity for teens and adults to use their voices and musical instruments to bring glory to the Lord. We play at three services a year and travel to other congregations if invited.

Prayer Team
Description: Receive a weekly list of special prayers requested by anyone in need and petition the Lord on their behalf.

Rachel Circle
Description: The Rachel Circle is a service organization for the congregation, serving as hosts for Advent and Lenten meals, funeral meals, coffee hours, etc.
Day and Time: The Rachel Circle meets at 1:30pm on the first Thursday of every month October thru May (unless Maundy Thursday happens to fall on the first Thursday).

Sunshine Club
Description: Assist/visit shut-ins and people with physical limitations
Day and Time: 2nd Tuesday of the month 2:15 p.m.
